The 2016 New Zealand Hi Tech Awards was another stand out event with some fantastic Kiwi organisations being recognised for their success and innovation in their given fields. The Company of the Year award went to Vista Group, for their innovations in the film and cinema industry.
Qual IT were proud to sponsor the Best Technology Solution for the Public Sector category and are thrilled to announce that SilverStripe won the award.
SilverStripe are no stranger to serving the public sector. They won the contract to provide a single web platform for New Zealand government agencies in 2013.
SilverStripe’s Common Web Platform (CWP) was developed specifically for New Zealand government sites through a partnership with the Department of Internal Affairs (DOI) and Revera.
Since the launch in 2013, CWP has helped create a more connected and collaborative environment within the public sector and allowed government agencies to deliver better information and services to New Zealanders.
Qual IT work closely with both central and local government agencies across New Zealand to get them ready to deliver quality IT projects. In the public sector, ensuring information technology delivers is critical. Not just for spending taxpayers’ dollars wisely, but also to support the delivery of essential services to the community.
We would like to congratulate all the finalists for the awards, recognising the hard work you do in the hi-tech industry and extend our congratulations to the winners.
